Music has been a big part of my  life. I think I was singing before I could walk. I come from a family of very talented musicians.I got my dad to thank for  teaching me how to sing. My  uncle Tommy told me when I was 18 to forget  about playing drums and taught me how to play the guitar. But last but not least was grandpap Jim, the best bluegrass musician in these parts.  So  as you can tell I had tough acts to follow. I have always chosen to be my own person and do my own style of music. My journey into playing in live bands started in 1984 when my dad's best friend Ronnie Frame hired me to play  drums. I played with a number of great musicians who had a great influence on me. Don  Leadbeater  Sr.,Morgan Smith,Curly Schnieder and Harvy & Phylss Phares. At age 20 I started the band Windridge from there Rebelrose followed. In 1999 I started playing with the classic rock band,  Impact. After doing a Windridge  reunion show I missed my first love, country music. So I assembled an all star group of musicians and BIRMINGHAM  was born. In my spare time I like to enjoy spending time with my beautiful daughter Ashley.
